London show // Film soundtrack
We've got a London show on Thursday 21 May at The Lexington. Just before our set, we will be interviewed live on stage by Beat Happening magazine, followed by an audience Q&A. Should be interesting. We will of course be wearing shades on stage. Please feel free to do the same.
This year we've been busy recording a feature film soundtrack for 'Bunny and The Bull' (Warp Films), out later in the year. Come to the gig and hear some musical nuggets from the film.

Bologna show cancelled
Sadly tomorrow's show in Bologna has been cancelled by the promoter due to personal circumstances. Our thoughts are with the promoter. We will endeavour to book another show in Bologna in the near future.

Ralfe Band and Rob da Bank festive monster
Radio 1's Rob da Bank has created his very
own film score for the classic 1933 film
King Kong, and it features a track from Ralfe Band!

Ralfe Band to play a headline show in Paris on 10th Sept
The lowland folk horror show creaks into Paris on Wednesday 10th September...bring any unwanted pets!
Also on the bill are Neva Dinova (Saddle Creek / US) and Tatiana Sauvage (Watsü' sound? / FR).
Doors open at 8pm and Ralfe Band are on stage at 11pm.

Glastonbury Festival & other festival news
Ralfe Band return to Glastonbury Festival this week. This year we are performing on The Park Stage on Friday 22 June at 11.30am. The Park is a very exciting new area which has been created and organised by Emily Eavis. You can read all about The Park here
We are also playing Wye Fayre near Ashford in Kent on Saturday 7 July on the Main Stage. (Please note, we are not playing on Friday 6 July as mistakenly advertised by the festival). Weekend and day tickets are available here

Brighton show cancellation

Our debut album Swords has just been released in Italy on Talitres. Splendido!
As with the French release of Swords last month, it includes two bonus tracks, Run Down the Lane and Moths. Swords will be released in many other European countries within the next few months.

BIFA win for Oly Ralfe
The Ballad of AJ Weberman, a film made by Oly Ralfe and James Bluemel, has won the Raindance Award at the British Independent Film Awards 2006. The film is a feature-length documentary chronicling the life, times and crimes of A J Weberman, notorious Bob Dylan obsessive and inventor of Garbology.
